Chronology - 25 Years Rainer's Bike Shop


In the best years of BMX Rainer and his Dad Dieter started a BMX Shop in Karlsruhe...

In the best years of BMX Rainer and his Dad Dieter started a BMX Shop in Karlsruhe. Rainer brought in his fascination for BMX and Dieter brought in his buisness Idea. Through their service on the BMX Tracks they were well know in Germany, Swiss, Austria and even Elsass. Also Advertising in the one and only BMX Magazin in Germany brought some customers to Karlsruhe. Another Hightlight was the 1986 Rainer`s Bike Shop Race Team with PATTERSON, POWERLITE and ZERONINE Riders. Over the years such companys like Powerlite, TNT,MCS, Revcore, Cycle Craft and JT were distributed in Germany.

The one and only European Championship here in Germany was another Highlight. The US Army gave Dieter and his Bike Shop a Certificate of Honor. 1992 Dieter Schadowski acchieved another certificate for their long buisness relation from GT Germany . Later the hype for MTB followed. Again Rainers Bike Shop was a hot adress for GT.

At the Eurobike Show Rainers Bike Shop displayed new products and discovered new buisness fields. Now also Trail Bikes were available. The Freestyle Bikes at this time got more heavier. Rainers Bike Shop did another way in constructing a new aluminum Freestyle Frame with the help of Heinz Fuchs. Also a spezial Edition with Hydraulik Brakes were invented and a BMX Freak build a Hydraulik Rotor. Special Parts for MTB was titan Chainwheels etc. The RBS Competition Team appeard in 1996 for its last time. The Mail order catalog was available from 1983-1996.

 

At the Eurobike Show in 2004 the sound was louder for a cheap and good bmx bike for beginners. BARCODE BMX Machines was the Keyword on ebays platform. Since 2003 Old School BMX'ers have enjoyed not only participating in the BMX Vet Cup at Weiterstadt, Germany, but also having their bikes on display at the Old School Bike Show on the premises. For 2004, our new facility includes BMX museum, shop, warehouse and presentation of our current BMX bike line-up.
